1956 Hofner Type 1505 GR Floating Pickup

A rare vintage Hofner 1505 "GR" floating pickup with integral volume control.

These pickups were launched in 1956 - the GR refers to the fitting to the end of the fingerboard - an aftermarket product produced to enable Hofner acoustic archtop owners to join the amplified world.

In good condition, the volume control still works.
